If you are in Belgium, you can start dropshipping!
Thanks to the different legal statutes, you have the possibility to start this serious business quite quickly. Just like in France, creating a company is something that has become common nowadays! Starting a business in your own name becomes a quick source of money and offers great career opportunities.
I make you the list of the statutes available to benefit from a status in Belgium
In this article, I list the statutes available to you to benefit from a status in Belgium that allow you to create a dropshipping store and start selling on the internet.
Sole proprietorship: auto-entrepreneurship in Belgium!
I would like to specify that, as in France, this is a micro-business, that is to say, a business that is in your name, and that only engages you.
The advantages of a sole proprietorship in Belgium
You don’t need to have a huge amount of money in your bank account! To get started, you only need a few dozen euros, and you are ready for the big jump. So, with a sole proprietorship, forget about the start-up capital.
You can also manage your business without stress.
To do dropshipping, you don’t have to spend a lot of money or have a third party to get your account management in order. You have a permanent follow-up of your turnover under your eyes. The calculations are fast, the methods are more practical. You work alone as you wish. Forget the partners!
The disadvantages of the sole proprietorship in Belgium
You will have your own business. You are the only one responsible for your sales and your products. You must therefore take precautions and follow the legislation to be in order. Only adults are concerned so if you are a minor who wants to start dropshipping, it could be complicated!
You also need to create a separate bank account to justify your business expenses.

How to create my own business in Belgium?
No need to look far, go to an equivalent of the chamber of commerce, where there is the business counter. Or make your declaration as a self-employed person in Belgium directly on the internet. Before you start, it is good to know that this status has been advised to you to make a small test of your investment. After you have generated a lot of sales with a business that generates significant income, you can move on to the next step which is the limited liability company.
Company statutes in Belgium
SPRL or private limited liability company
The principle is almost the same as for the SARL in France. It requires one or a few partners contributing to the starting capital, including the creation of a legal entity. For the partners who are part of it, the main interest is to make sure that they succeed in their investment.
SPRL-S or Starter which finances beginners
There is also the SPRL-S or Starter which finances beginners who do not necessarily have the means to implement their project, especially in dropshipping. It effectively allows to start at a lower rate, and at the same time, ensures the protection of the entrepreneur as is the case of the basic SPRL.
SA or limited company
The company consists of at least 2 shareholders in the initial capital. It is mainly present in SMEs and many other groups of considerable size.
SNC or general partnership
Here it is the unanimity that speaks, no decision is taken at random. It is a common way of proceeding, but it can with time prevent the good functioning of the company.
SCRL or SCRI or cooperative society with limited or unlimited liability
It has no great difference from the French SCOOP. Here, the capital can vary with also the number of employees and partners during the existence of the company. It is a stable and durable organization aiming to maintain the equality of each employee in the company, but always remaining focused on the ownership of the capital.
SCS and SCA
Reference is made to the limited partnership and the limited partnership with shares. But these are not really adapted in our case. We create a legal person with a capital, apart from the founder, thus allowing to avoid the engagement of the personal goods of the latter, except that he does things illegally.
