It’s quite easy to use and if you don’t know where to start, don’t hesitate to consult the AliExpress categories and choose the products that you like and that you can sell. As the range of products is quite large, you can easily get lost, and I advise you to follow some rules that will always be very useful. I am going to list for you several selection criteria, your product does not have to respect all the criteria but must respect as many as possible.

Integrate your products on your online store

Then, add products to your e-commerce site, once your niche is made and a supplier is found, it is time to find and add the selected products to your store. This step is full of details but all of them are important, that is to say, that when choosing products you will have to make a unique description of the products and not copy one of the suppliers, specify very precisely and clearly your shipping time to the customers. Also, use an order tracking application, this is a great way to keep your customers informed of the status of their purchases.

Receiving your first orders

It’s a good idea to create a list of the products you sell, including the resale price, the purchase price on AliExpress, and a link to the listing of each product on AliExpress. This way, every time you receive an order, it will be easier to find the supplier on AliExpress and thus keep track of price changes.

As I told you before, you should choose the ePacket if the supplier is based in China

Depending on the processing time of your supplier, you will receive an email informing you that the order has been processed. You must click on the link in the e-mail to view the order and note the shipment number. From this moment on you can log in to your interface to process the order in question. From there, all you have to do is wait for your customer to receive the order.

Important when you place an order on the AliExpress website

Note in the comment of the order, that you are dropshipping and therefore the customer should not receive any advertisement or invoice in the package.
Be careful to have your first sales it is advisable to launch an advertising campaign on Facebook and also on google, and to work in parallel the natural referencing. I will have the opportunity in future articles to talk about these different channels because eCommerce is not magic to acquire traffic it will take a lot of time and work. Advertising is therefore there to compensate for this waiting time.

The cost to start selling in dropshipping

If it is a case of non-satisfaction, suggest a refund. If it’s a damaged product, then ask your customer for pictures and send them to your supplier and ask them to fix the situation.

At this point, you only have to grow your dropshipping e-commerce site. Once you have made your first sales, you will have to find concrete ways to grow your e-commerce in order to earn more money.
With time and experience, you will be able to identify reliable and serious suppliers and thus start to really maintain a professional relationship in the long term.
